What Moveat collects
Account and app data
When you use Moveat, we may process Firebase account identifiers and Google or Apple sign-in details; subscription and entitlement metadata; your preferences; food descriptions, approximate estimates, assumptions, goals, Movement Reserve activity, catch-up loops, history, and support identifiers.
Health and movement data
With your permission, the app reads only the normalized activity summaries needed to show eligible movement contributions. Android uses Health Connect and iOS uses HealthKit. Depending on the device and permission, this may include active energy and workout context, with walking, running, cycling, steps, or distance as supporting context. Moveat does not request or store raw health samples, heart rate, sleep, nutrition, weight, GPS routes, or precise location.
Voice and approximate location
Native speech-to-text happens on your device; Moveat does not upload or store speech audio. If you opt into contextual help, approximate location may be quantized to roughly five kilometers for one estimation request and then discarded. It is not stored or included in telemetry.
Waitlist
If you join the public waitlist, we store your email address, consent version, consent time, and that the source was the Moveat landing page. We use it only for launch and availability updates. We do not sell it or use it for unrelated marketing. Contact help [at] mouchegmouradian.com to withdraw it.
How we use data
We use data to provide the app’s food-estimate preview, Movement Reserve, goals, catch-up loops, history, settings, subscriptions, support, security, deletion, and service operations. Food and activity values are estimates. Movement never grants permission to eat and does not create a debt or guarantee a health outcome.
Health-data boundaries
Health and activity data is used only for the user-facing movement features described above. Moveat does not sell it, use it for advertising, use it for credit decisions, or share it with data brokers. Access is limited to the minimum permissions needed, protected in transit, and restricted to service operations and support allowed by consent, security, or law.
Service providers
- Firebase provides authentication and app data storage.
- Apple and Google provide platform sign-in, store billing, and health frameworks.
- RevenueCat provides subscription metadata and purchase-management infrastructure.
- Backend-only AI providers, including OpenAI or Google where enabled, may process the food-estimate request needed to return an approximate result.
- PostHog and Sentry may receive limited, scrubbed operational information. Optional website analytics is consent-gated, has autocapture and replay disabled, and never receives waitlist emails or health values.
What we do not collect for the MVP
Moveat does not collect body profiles, age/height/weight formulas, weight history, macros, calorie budgets, complete food diaries, food photos, barcodes, receipts, raw health samples, heart rate, sleep, GPS routes, precise location, speech audio, or a user-generated food database.
Retention and deletion
We keep app records while needed to provide the service, support, security, billing, or legal obligations. A waitlist address is removed when you withdraw it or no later than 90 days after both mobile apps launch. Account deletion locks access immediately and starts deletion of your profile, preferences, estimates, goals, loops, reserve, normalized activity, and entitlement state; the target is seven days. Limited records may remain only where legally required.
How to delete your account
In the app, go to Settings → Account & Privacy → Delete account. The request is irreversible and does not automatically cancel an Apple or Google subscription, so cancel billing separately. If you no longer have app access, contact help [at] mouchegmouradian.com and explain that you need an account-deletion request; we may need to verify ownership.
Your choices and questions
You can deny or later revoke health, location, notification, and analytics permissions; manual activity remains available when health data is unavailable. For access, correction, withdrawal, deletion, waitlist removal, or privacy questions, contact help [at] mouchegmouradian.com.
Policy changes
We will update this page when data practices change and will preserve the effective date above. This policy is complete product-facing copy for the current MVP; the release team must reconcile it with final legal advice and the Apple App Privacy and Google Play Data Safety declarations before launch.
